They are internationally acclaimed Argentine tango dancers, choreographers, and teachers, known for their dynamic style, precision, and artistry. Dedicated educators, they have inspired dancers around the world through workshops, festivals, and masterclasses across Europe, Asia, and the Americas. As choreographers, they have been featured at the Gala de Campeones of the Tango World Championship, the European Tango Championship, Torino Tango Festival, Recuerdo Tango Festival, and La Boca Tango Festival. Their performances captivate audiences worldwide, blending passion, elegance, and innovation.

Due to unforeseen health circumstances, Cynthia Palacios will not be able to join us. Sebastián Bolívar will be teaching with Mariela Franganillo as scheduled.

Sebastián Bolívar is an internationally acclaimed Argentine Tango dancer, teacher, and choreographer. A former member of the prestigious ballet company of Café Tortoni and the tango ensembles Añoranzas and Proyecciones in Buenos Aires, he represented Río Negro for two consecutive years in Argentina’s Federal Tango Selection. Sebastián achieved 4th place in the Tango de Pista category at the Tango World Championship in 2017 and 2018, and was crowned World Tango Champion in 2022. Since 2014, he has toured extensively across Europe, the Americas, Oceania, and Asia, performing, teaching, and judging at major tango schools and festivals worldwide.

Mariela Franganillo began her tango career in the milonguero world of Buenos Aires, where she absorbed the essence of traditional social tango before bringing it to the stage. She starred in Forever Tango on Broadway, collaborated with Grammy winner Pablo Ziegler at Carnegie Hall, and toured with Julio Iglesias, sharing the stage with renowned musicians. She also choreographed Swango: The Musical (with Tony Award winner Rupert Holmes), Tango Connection, and Recuerdo Tango. Blending her milonga roots with theatrical artistry, Mariela is known for her clarity, warmth, and deep understanding of connection and musicality.
